I have implemented FCKEditor on my existing site. I would just like to switch to CKEditor Version 4.3.1 with KCFinder 2.5.1 for image/file uploads. Should be a fairly simple job. There are many files/images already uploaded, so I will need this system to account for that. Appropriate testing should be done after to ensure that the new editor works as intended and all images/files are still maintained. I have installed FCKEditor 2.6 on an existing website. I have added content, and the images uploaded through the editor show fine on the website. But in the editor, the images are showing as broken. If you click on the image to investigate properties, the image shows correctly. So there is something with the path likely that is not working. I need this fixed. I currently use fckeditor for my members on my website. The members I have create webpages for their website with me with my online tools. The custom plugins that I have for fckeditor do not work in windows 8 metro. I send people to windows 8 desktop. I would like to update the editor so it works in all browsers AND windows 8 metro. The custom plugin I have now, pulls images from a specific folder (specified by php echoing from the database). Then displays those photos in a pop up window, allows the user to choose from the photos and add them to their page. I have an existing admin section of a website that uses an older version of FCKeditor (WYSIWYG text editor) that is no longer compatible with current web browsers. It will only show the html within the text fields, and the toolbar no longer shows. I would like a newer version installed so I can go back to editing pages with the toolbar functionality.
