I want to use the ESP32-S3 module with a RP2040 attached for a project. The RP2040 doesn't have any flash. Instead the ESP32 boots and once running downloads a binary from its own ROM into the RAM of the RP2040 by bit-banging IO47(SWD) and IO48(SWCLK) into the SWD port on the RP2040, then boots the RP2040. There is a discussion how to do this here. A post by Lurk101 half way down indicates he has got it working from a Pi So this code needs converting to run on an ESP32-S3. Just compile the standard "flash the led" C program into an RP2040 binary to test it.
