I need to design 3 night lights: Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and a baseball ball. The project consists of taking a complete STL of the models, making them hollow, cutting into two halves, and adjusting the base to fit in the LED device. Height-wise, let's aim at 150 cm +-20cm for the statue of liberty and the empire state building, and 130 cm +-20cm for the ball. Time-wise, I'd probably suggest creating rough designs first and testing them out, and then working on the layer heights to make sure light distribution looks good. Let's try to avoid supports for all 3 models. I know my 3D printers can print at a 90 degree angle if the edges are small. And let's start with the layer height of 1.2mm, and depending on how the light glows, either keep it unch...
