My site is causing the MySQL to overload my server. My site is on a dedicated server and it's causing my serverload to be high. My hosting company said it's due to mysql problems and that some tweaking to the database would be needed to help the serverload problem. I use scheduler task to fire the asp page which loops through the database and sends my newsletter to my customer. Problem is i want this code server friendly and to only send 10 emails per minute so as not to overload the server by sending them altogether.
