I have an existing .dotx template in Microsoft Word that’s already doing almost everything I need, except for one small but important detail: when I insert the customised table style I created, only the first cell in the header-row defaults to the Normal style. The customised table style is all set up with the correct colors, font, font size, and line spacing. However, the left-hand side cell in the table header does not automatically adopt the header settings until I click out of the table and then back into that first cell of the header row, at which point it adopts the correct settings.
