Project Description

I am looking for a RE-streaming add-in or application that works with Windows Media Encoder.

I have an Mpeg2 Http stream that I want to encode in real time. The content is all on the local machine.

I have a URL as a source, and I have a file as source, BUT the file is locked.

The source is from a DVB-S card but windows media encoder dosnt recognize it. So I can not select it as a source.

I have a third part software that does all the work on the DVB-S card. It gives me that mpeg2 stream via URL, and it has a .tmp file which is mpeg but a .tmp file and I can record from it at the same time which will give me a mpeg file.

I cannot access this file via Windows Media Encoder in either way. I've tried to make filter graphs and access the feed via Directshow but it does not work.. I've tried using the screen record option, it works ok, but not good enough.

I need some sore of application or filter graph that will allow Windows Media Encoder to stream to a windows media server.

VLC is not compatible with Windwos Media Server, so that is not an option.
