Project Description

I'm looking for someone to improve the results (Chart and Table) handling in the page below:

[url removed, login to view]
User: m
Pass: none

Results change as you change the combo boxes “Quiz” and “Pergunta”, Radio buttons “Agrupar” (Group) and “Comparar” (Compare) and the dates “De” (From) and ”Até” (To).

Technologies used:
MySQL : Database
AJAX
ASP: Extracts the data into XML using
XML: Contains the Data
Javascript: Uses XMLHTTPRequest to get the XML data, manipulates it and creates the Chart and Table with results from the XML
HMTL: Page to display the results to the user (Chart and Table)
XML/SWF Charts: Charts Software used. If you prefer or have more experience in other Free Charts Software it is ok to change.

Functionalities required:
1- Drill Up and Down. When user clicks on any charts series, an options box should be displayed to the user giving the option to Drill Up, Drill Down or Cancel. You may have to optimize the query to extract the results, so MySQL knowledge is required.
2- Show Drill Up and Down Path. This path is to be displayed so the user knows which query is currently running. It should be a link that allows user to go Drill Up more than one level.
3- Show “Processing …” Animation. While XML date is being downloaded and Charts and Table is being created, an animation should be shown to the user.
5- Show Chart Legend
6- Automate Series Orientation. Depending on space available, series can be in Horizontal (by default), Vertical, Diagonal, etc
7- Automate Series Show/Skip. Depending on space available, series can be Shown or Skipped.
8- Automate Series Split. Depending on space available, series can be split in smaller chunks in order to be shown in horizontal for example.
9- Keep existing functionalities.
10- Add Other Functionalities that you think adds value to the overall user experience.

Timings:
This project is to start immediately after assigned and to be completed within one week.

Note:
- Work needs to be properly documented in the code developed and also in a word document giving a high level overview on work done.
- I’m looking for someone to stay in touch for future developments of this web site.
- Proactive members with ideas on how to improve the user experience with the charts will be preferred.
- Suggestions and pricing on how to do this Chart Functionality differently are also welcome.

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
