Project Description

Excel sheet online with [url removed, login to view]

For a company that is using a converted Excel sheet online we need to develop an [url removed, login to view] system having mostly the same functionality but with a different user management module.
In the past Excel sheets were converted using [url removed, login to view]
It is possible to use the same techniques for this project. A licence of $187 can be supplied.

The idea is as follows:
The user management will be done using the [url removed, login to view] built in security / user / roles management. The only difference is that an MS Access database will be used instead of the MSsql database that comes standard with visual studio. This to avoid higher hosting cost. Using MS Access is possible because of the small number of users and the low log in frequency. A working demo of using an MS Access database as backend is available.
explanation of MS Access backend: [url removed, login to view]
Apart from the default user management, a user overview screen is needed where a user can be put to inactive. I would be nice if this gridview would show the last login of the user. The list should only be visible for an Admin user
The Job includes the entry of 75 users with their contact details
After a user logs in, the converted Excel sheet should appear and a few fields with contact details of the user should be filled in automatically from the user profile.

After conversion of the Excel spreadsheet, most of the functionality is there already. What has to be added writing code is:
- some values from the Excel spreadsheet needs to be made variable. So they should be stored in the MS Access database or in another settings file, to enable changing them centrally.
- Printer friendly reports needs to be made of the different tabs of the excel sheet
- A PDF print should be created as well when the user chooses PDF print
ASP, C#, HTML and CSS code should be well commented and following programming standards and naming conventions. Code and layout should be split in different files.

Please make sure you bid covers quite some time for any customer wishes as we would like to make whatever the customer requests.
