Project Description

I require a talented animator who is able to create a high quality 30 second animation/cartoon advert for web use.

I have devised the storyboard, and need a creative person to interpret this and bring it to life. There will be some character design, and the animation itself. If you can do your own music that would be great buy not essential.

The animation is set in one location, and has 5 characters.

To give you an idea of the look and feel I need in my animation – the inspiration should be taken from (but not copied) the Gorillaz band, the animatrix and Sin City (google image search these terms to get an idea). It’s a dark, moody kind of animation and should be a lot of fun for someone to create.

This advert will be entered into competitions so is a great opportunity for someone to get their work noticed.

As I see it at the moment there would be several main stages to the project:
1) Storyboard run through, evolution and agreement (I will supply rough storyboard)
2) Main character and set/setting design
Once approved these designs, move on to stage three…
3) Animation creation
4) Animation first draft and evolution / revision
5) Evolved animation
6) Final revisions and approval
7) Release Completed Animation

This project has to be the highest quality, anyone applying for this project has to have previous, and demonstrable experience. If you don’t have an animation show reel then unfortunately you won’t be picked for the project so please don’t apply.

Any questions just get in touch.
