Need webpages written for a website.... Will pay per page....
IDEAS FOR WEBPAGE:
The page(s) must clearly set out all of the items trying to be accomplished.
Ø ABOUT US PAGE - Include "Mission Statement"
"To put an end to Media Bullying by Sun Media (Quebecor Corp)"
Who is going to accomplish this: You, The Public!
Who needs to be involved: You, The Public!
How it is going to be done: By Working as One!
Overall attitude: Coalition against all forms of bullying!
Ø TASK FORCE
Intention to set up a task force to determine the effects Media Bullying has on the economy;
Seeking people from all walks of life - lawyers, former police officers, school teachers, construction workers, etc.
Once the task force is in place, it will be their job to gather and review all information available on the long and short term effects caused as a direct result of Media Bullying.
One of the first necessary steps will be to find a Spokesperson for the cause. Preferably someone directly affected by Media Bullying. Or, perhaps, a Journalism Student or Writer.
The Spokesperson will be the "face" of the coalition responsible for addressing the media - holding press conferences, etc.
Getting people involved.
Prizes will be awarded in a number of categories.
i. Creation of the best Logo for the Coalition Against Media Bullying;
ii. Best video against Bullying;
iii. Best jingle against Bullying;
iv. Most postings of billboards (8.5" x 11" posters) on street corners (lamp posts, etc.) Proof will be required by way of photographs.
v. Grand prize ($2,[url removed, login to view]) for the person who gets the most "Likes" on Facebook and "Tweets" on Twitter.
Prizes to include 1st, 2nd and 3rd in some categories with various
awards such as IPads and/or 60" Flat Screen TVs.
Ø WEB POLES
Post a different question each month and have people vote:
YES or NO
Example: Do you believe that ethical journalism should delete stories from the internet where a person has been charged and they are found not guilty or face no conviction (for whatever reason)?
Ø BOYCOTTING THE "ENABLERS" OF MEDIA BULLYING
This will be two fold:
a) Promoting the public to avoid retailers who support Sun Media by selling their newspapers in their stores eg: Convenience Stores, Drug Stores, Grocery Stores, etc.
b) Directly contacting companies that advertise in the Sun Media Newspapers. By doing so, they appear to support the bullying.
All ideas from the public in this regard are welcome. Perhaps rallies can be held to draw public attention to this very important matter. Perhaps it will be necessary to picket in front of certain retailers and/or advertisers to bring home the importance of this matter.
Ø GOVERNMENT PETITION
Creation of a government petition to bring in legislation to end Media Bullying. Rallying the public together for signatures on the petition.
Ø UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
If you, or someone you know, is a victim of Media Bullying, if you were charged and cleared, we want to hear from you. Please contact us.
Media Bullying can affect us all. Stories on the Internet never go away. Employers rely on "Google" and other social media sites to gain insight into an individual's background. Media Bullying is of a destructive nature. It can destroy peoples' lives. They must be stopped.
