Project Description

I am looking to create a web based NX client. NX protocol is a X-forwarding protocol that has been optimized to handle latency and low bandwidth links. It is similar to the Remote Frame Buffer (RFB) protocol used by VNC. While VNC is great for desktop sharing, NX is used for desktop as well as application streaming. NX client is a client side software that parses the protocol messages sent by the server and creates the graphical display of the same. It also handles mouse and keyboard inputs.
I need a NX client that is embedded within a browser, and used Javascript/ AJAX to display the remote application. It must also handle mouse and keyboard inputs. Please visit : [url removed, login to view] to learn more about the NX protocol. I have sample Javascript code that shows handling of the RFB protocol for a web browser embedded VNC client (check attachment). Also check out the tarball that contains the implementation of a web browser embedded VNC client. I am looking for an extension of the same, that can handle the NX protocol. This should be straightforward for a person proficient in JavaScript and NX.
The front end must look similar to the picture attached. There must be a basic page to enter login details and another that embeds NX display in it.
If you would like your bid to be considered seriously please start the bid with : "NX_WebApp: ". Also please briefly describe how you would go about implementing it, and your experience with these technologies. A generic bid saying "I can do it" will not be taken seriously.
Thanks!
