Raspberry Pi Video Playing - repost

my project is as follow

i will have a video on a CD the video will be encrypted by a program on my pc that will switch some bytes of the video

what i want is to reprogram a Raspberry Pi so that i can connect an external DVD player to it then so if i put the CD on the DVD Player the Raspberry Pi will allow me to select witch video i want to play and take the video selected from the CD and Decrypt the video by putting the bytes of the video back to there original place then play it to the TV .

the video will be put into the CD or a DVD not burn into it

i wanted to be able to select the video from the memory card to if i want

i will use an HDMI output to tv

Note that on the file was about a tv dvd player witch i want to do now using Raspberry Pi as a tv dvd player .
