Project Description

A program is needed to open [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] (the file names will vary so it will be needed to prompt the user for a file name) and read the photo number and time of photo from [url removed, login to view] then find the corresponding time with an offset that will be given by the user in [url removed, login to view] and output the photo number, latitude, longitude, and elevation into a separate output file.

For example:

Open the file [url removed, login to view] and read the photo number and the time of photo for each photo.

Go into the [url removed, login to view] and given an offset of X seconds find the position of the first photo. For example the time of photo of the first picture is 10:03:06. This photo was taken 113 seconds after the flight began so the offset is 113 seconds for this photo and all consecutive photos. You will be given the offset time as an input from the user of the program.

There are multiple entries at the 113 second mark of the Flight-data.txt.

There are usually two photos for each second. If there are two photos for each second then the first photo will get the first input of latitude, longitude, and elevation and the second photo will get the last latitude, longitude, and elevation.

If there is only one photo that corresponds to this time then add all of the elevations latitude and longitude and output a file with the photo number, and average latitude, average longitude, and average elevation.

There will be a single output file with four columns consisting of : photo numbers with the corresponding latitude, longitude, and elevation.
