Project Description

We need a native English speaking editor to check and modify the text, dialogs, documents etc. in our video game in casual adventure genre. There are approximately 200 dialog sentences in narrative sequences; 100 commentaries spoken by the main character and around 30 documents (e.g. letters, newspaper articles, brochures, letters etc) that will play role in the presentation of the story to the player and will also supply clues. These were written by non native English speaking people so we believe a professional touch is necessary to `wax` them and to add some humor.

The game takes place in the 1950s so the style of the text should have some elements in 1950s style, i.e. using some of the famous words, sayings, citations, idioms of the era, but with moderation. Once more, a touch of humor is a must.

The dialogs that will be edited belong to a male character from New York in his late 30s, who is relaxed, calm but fun character who is able to laugh at himself.

The documents that will be edited are from the 1920s and the 1950s from Russia and Brazil, but in English.

All of the concerned text together with the story and background will be supplied after preliminary quotation for exact pricing.
