To help us promote an app awards competition, we are looking for individual email contacts of roughly 150 English-language Android tablet app publishers.
For each app publishing company, we need a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 individual contacts. among the top decisions-makers in the marketing and communications departments.
For each individual for whom contact info is collected, you should look for and enter the following into a Google spreadsheet doc (***a Gmail account is required***):
Company and product info:
- name of the company (app publisher)
- name of at least one app
- app category of one app (according to the app store)
- if the app is free or paid
- company website URL
- first and last name
- individual email address
- or, failing an individual email address:
-- linkedin profile page, and
-- general contact form page URL
Our goal is to contact them, so we are giving a VERY STRONG preference to getting an individual email address vs. a linkedin profile or a general email contact.
Contractor should follow these steps:
1. Go to
[url removed, login to view]
and look at the apps on the first result page (showing 240 results) which are in english language and do not seem focused on a non-US audience. At first sight, probably 50 to 100 of these apps are in other languages or are designed for a non-US audience, resulting in roughly 150 apps to be considered.
For each considered app, click on the publisher’s name (in grey and in smaller type, just below the app’s name).
2. Check if the company IS ALREADY in the Google doc spreadsheet.
If it is, update the entry if needed.
If it is not, look for the desired information on the web, then enter it in the Google doc spreadsheet.
More specific instructions relating to the spreadsheet will be provided to you.
Contract is paid on an hourly basis. You should provide an estimate of the time required for this contract. Do ask for feedback on a continuous basis.
TabTimes will own 100% of collected data. You will have no right to copy, reuse, rent or resell any collected data, nor any part of the database you will be given access to.
Contract should be assigned by Dec. 9. Contract should be completed by January 2 AT THE LATEST (completing this contract earlier could allow you to get another similar contract).
