Project Description

BIDS PER ITEM ONLY, NOT PER HOUR THANK YOU!

We are a business who lists many items on eBay every week - between 250 and 300 so far but we are looking to expand our number of listings and that is where you come in! We are looking for a dedicated person who has excellent English skills, good transcription skills and some knowledge of fashion terms and is able to work on an ongoing basis. Also the same person my be asked to help with various office duties such as email inquiries.

We use a program called Turbo Lister to process and upload the listings to our eBay store and we're looking for someone to construct the listings from
.MP3 files whereby the person employed will listen to a recording with the instructions spoken in clear English language and will type in the fields to complete the listing.

We wish to be able to check the listings done before upload so do not want the listings uploaded direct. You will need to supply the listings completed for us to check at first and then we will upload them to the eBay store. After a while when you are competent we will not check your listings so attention to detail is imperative!

You may use Turbo Lister and wish to submit a completed Turbo Lister file for us to import into our Turbo Lister client, or you may use another
database application where you submit the completed file to us so we're able to place all the listings in the eBay store using a no-fuss method to avoid
double handling. However it is done, we must be able to check the work done before upload and also ascertain the fees that will be charged by eBay. We would prefer it to be done via Turbo Lister but if you can suggest a better way we are open to negotiation.

An average listing can be provided upon request to indicate the approximate number of fields and length of text for each. Many of the fields are simple drop down boxes, the main parts will be adding the pictures, filling in numbers in the measurements of the item and a section of text between 50 and 80 words. The turbo lister program can be downloaded via the web at [url removed, login to view] for free, a template for the listing will be supplied by ourselves.

Turnaround time is 2 to 4 days. Work delivered to you by us on Monday and Tuesday must be completed by early Thursday morning our time (Perth, Western Australia GMT 8+) of that same week. The employed person will be required on a long term weekly basis and will be paid by the week, fortnight or month depending on their preferences.

Please detail the way you intend to complete the work.

Please confirm you have the tools to do the job such as a reliable computer, reliable connection to the internet and the ability to transcribe in perfect English language.

This is very important. Our business must have accurate information in our auctions, failure to transcribe words correctly can lead to bad feedback from customers and spelling errors do not look very professional so please note responses to this advertisement with spelling and grammatical errors will be disqualified and not replied to.

Please detail your abilities and strengths as per the project details.

IMPORTANT: Please bid using a price per listing. Rates per hour will not be considered.

PLEASE FIND BELOW A SAMPLE OF A MP3 FILE THAT WE USE TO CREATE THE ITEMS.

We are friendly, approachable and good to work for. We want to work with loyal, friendly and happy people who can do the job well and take pride in their work.

YOU MUST:

HAVE EXCELLENT WRITTEN ENGLISH SKILLS
HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH TURBO LISTER (or similar programs)
HAVE EXPERIENCE ANSWERING CUSTOMER EMAILS
HAVE AN ABILITY TO CREATE THE WORK WEEK AFTER WEEK WITHOUT FAIL
WISH TO WORK WITH A FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYER.
