Project Description

Our System:

Drupal 7 with MySQL Database

Dedicated Server with Linux and Apache Web Server

Requirement:

Our Project requires to create a subdomain for each node generated for spcific content types.

For ex. instaad of [url removed, login to view] it should be [url removed, login to view]

instead of [url removed, login to view] it should be [url removed, login to view]

Proposed Solution:

We were told that creating a fake sub domain using .htaccess will work. There are numerous articles on net for creating fake sub domains but we are interested in an expert who knows not only .htaccess but also Drupal way of working with nodes.

We would like to get expert opinion on pros and cons of using such solution any impact to Search engine indexing etc.
