Project Description

Hi!

I am currently working on a mobile application. The application is basically a product catalog from an office supplies collective who have about 400 single Dealers. Since I am very busy and having not a lot of practice hacking action script, I am looking for someone to complete the job.

The Application is build on Adobe Flex using the Robotslegs Framework. It consists of a TabbedViewNavigatorApplication with 6 Tabs and Data stored in a Sqlite-Database. The application should be deployed an Android and on iPhone which is the reason why I've chosen Flex as a Crossplattform approach.

The source code is written and documented using english. The Userinterface is in german since it is targeting at german customers. However you won't get language issues as long as you speak english since I will care fore the language related parts.

The first tab shows just random Ads which are basically PNG files (one for portrait and one for landscape). If you click on the image you'll taken to the particular products detail page (decribed later). The PNG files have to be loaded from a webserver according to a JSON-File that says the exact URL of the PNG files and to which product should be linked. This Tab is not implemented yet (just about 10%).

The second tab shows the products on sale. The products are divided into sections (1 level) and show about 1000 Products which will be updated quarterly without updating the App from the store. The updates come via a JSON-File. This Tab is already implemented and I expect there only to be some fine tuning do be done (implemented 98%).

The third tab is the most important Tab which shows the whole catalog. About 20k Products are divided up into several multilevel categories. The Products are show in lists, just as at the on sale Tab. When you go down the categories to the Product you get to the product detail page which shows a picture and a description of the product. This Tab is nearly completely implemented. There have to some styling to be done at the product details page and some details to be added. (implemented 90%).

The fourth tab is for the product search which is not implemented yet (implemented 0%).

The fifth tab is watchlist just to bookmark Products. There should be a Button at the Product details page to put the current product onto that list. In this tab the list should be maintained as products can be removed and sorted. (implemented 0%).

The sixth tab shows only some info such as terms of use etc.. There is no special functionality beyond just showing text. For debugging reasons there is a Button for updating the catalog data at the moment. (implemented 0%).

Another functionality that has not is own tab is the redirection the online shops. There is a button at the products detail page to go to the online shop at and external website. As mentioned before, the app will be published by an association of dealers. At this point the user should be given the opportunity to choose which dealer's shop should be visited. The data for that come from a JSON-file. The choice should be remembered (on demand). Therefore we need somewhere at the a view where this choice can be revoked if necessary. (implemented 0%).

I am working with git and I would provide you with a git repository. What I need form you side are tiny and documented commits of your work using git as well. I am reachable via E-Mail, Phone, XMPP, Skype and Google Hangout.
