## Deliverables

**Background information**

The STEPS Governance Framework is a customisable web application that can be used to;

?

?

The ‘STEPS (Step-by-step) Governance Framework’ was initially developed as a franchise management system, but can also be used in other industries like the retail, building-, beauty-, financial-, education-, law- and banking industries.

?

The word ‘STEPS’ is derived from our development approach to make the system user friendly and simple to use. Everything in the system is done in a ‘Step-by-step’ manner and the website should portray that same image.

?

**Example Screen Shots**

Screen shots of the current application will be provided to the winning bidder

**Speed**

The website must load quickly. It may contain Flash animation, but long animations that take long to download should be avoided.

?

**Unique**

The design must be unique and NOT be used anywhere else.

?

**The following basic templates are required.**

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? **Homepage** ??"The homepage should include;
?

o? ? Header image, Footer Image, Navigation links, Background image/s and possible navigation

o? ? Account login section

o? ? Multiple ‘content blocks’ that will give a brief description of features that are available. Each content block must have space for a heading

o? ? A prominent Image/Link that points to a video about the system.

o? ? System Title and Slogan (Text will be provided, but must be done in such a way that it can be changed easily)

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? **Content Page** ??" This page is similar to the homepage but will contain more detailed descriptions of the software

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? **Page design elements**

o? ? Links:
The navigation links must be partly image and partly text so that the links can easily be updated when required.

o? ? Place markers
A set of generic place markers, bullets, etc must be provided for use in the website.

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ‘STEPS Governance System’ **Logo**

?

The templates must all be ‘Generic’ so that we can build various content pages from them, e.g. an order page, contact us page, online help, etc.

?

**Suggestions for images to be used in the system are welcome:**

You may choose any images in [[url removed, login to view]][1] and I will buy the licenses. Remember it must appeal to business clients in various industries.

?

We prefer an ‘Easy-to-Use’ look and feel, but it must appeal to the corporate/business sector (See examples). A simple design that draws attention is king.

?

**Examples**

The following are examples of web designs that I like:

?

This website includes all the elements that are required for the homepage.

?

I Also like the way Skype broke the rigid design lines that are always found on most website:

To all Bidders I reviewed all the submissions for this bid ('Website Look and Feel Design') and looked at the examples of work that have been sent. I've seen some good designs, however not exactly what we required for this particular project. We have decided to award this bid to a local designer that provided us with an excellent design template. I need to therefore close this bid and would like to thank you all for your participation. All the best!
