Project Description

I designed a game in flash some three years ago for schools and I would like to build upon this successful piece of work. As the results were astounding especially with those with learning difficulties.
I created the game and designed the idea of the game and how this should look like. I then approached a games design company to produce this piece of work in the best format to meet my budget. i used my working partnerships and my employment as senior manager in local authority to include the right and appropriate information and supporting agencies and organisations to help young adults in their life choices in the game.
It is currently being used successfully in schools as a tool to help students learn about life skills and the choices they make and consequences of them. It is helping students including those with learning difficulties understand about life skills you need after school, such as housing, gaining employment and budgeting and sustaining tenancies. Now I would like to expand this work further using gaming and the visual approach rather than the traditional chalk and talk in the classroom. I would like the freedom to work with someone (freelance) on other ideas that i have been requested to produce about other important life skills and use the best gaming platform and design to do is successfully.
In short I would like a piece of educational software produced in the format of a game that can be played by students through their computers at school. Therefore I need an experienced games designer, or someone who is looking to build their portfolio for future work.
Get in touch and we can meet up or communicate through Skype etc to discuss in more detail.
