Project Description

Hello. This project is basically logo design and cover art for a DVD. The image will be a composit image of a photograph of two men doing Tai Chi (see Accem and [url removed, login to view]) manipulated and placed within a creative yin yang symbol (see Tao Bros Logo Rough 2.jpg.) The final image should be in Illustrator for Mac, however the manipulated images from the photo should be in Photoshop.
Specifically, the two men will need to be cut out of the photo and manipulated in Photoshop. The African American man should be flipped to face the other direction (see Tao Bros Logo Rough 2jpg.) and one of his legs will need to be recreated (see Tao Bros Accem Portrait Sketch.) The concept for the final logo/design is that the African American man is a dark figure on the light side of the yin yang, and the White man is a light figure on the dark side of the yin yang. The colors of their clothing can be altered to accentuate this contrast, however this is NOT a black and white image. So the white man's clothing could be lightened or made white, but his hair and skin will remain the color of the original photograph. The red shirt on the African American man is already fairly dark, but could be darkened according to your artistic discretion. Also, the yin yang is not a typical circle, but more of an elipse.
When you are done, we will need to receive three files: 2 Photoshop files, one of each figure after manipulation; 1 Illustrator file of the completed design as a vector image. All files need to be Mac compatable.
Once we accept the bid, you will need to be able to complete the project within 24 hours.
