Project Description

We'd like you to develop all aspects of an iPhone app for us. That includes the back-end functionality and the graphics.

Graphics are limited to the splash page and the icon. Most other graphics are from the standard iPhone App library. Please refer to the attached document for a mockup. Note that the icon and splash page in the mockup are just placeholders. We'd like you to create something that is much better looking.

The app is very straightforward. It basically has 5 buttons (a "remote") and when a button is pressed it calls or texts someone in the phone's phonebook. There are also setup pages to label each button and to assign contacts (phone numbers) to each button.

When the Action icon is pressed, or when the phone is turned horizontally, there should be a screen that tells the user about our company and products. We are a retail store that sells men's clothing. Clicking on each product gives you more detail about it. You can also navigate back pages or to the original app.

The most complex aspect is as follows:
Upon start-up, we'd like the application to scan the phonebook and automatically assign contacts (phone numbers) to certain buttons. We'd like the app to automatically pre populate buttons with the most called, key words like "mom", etc.

We'd also like to know if the app can be setup to have root level access to send a text message instead of making a phone call.

The user can always change the settings after the initial auto-populate occurs after installation and start up.
