Project Description

I need a responsive, user-friendly plugin to handle the demands of complicated spare parts for different model/make/year motorbikes. The plugin needs to auto-populate when I add product categories/attributes to my woocommerce, responsive store. There is a great free plugin for this called CarQuery API but it only works up till WP 3.5.2.

I need this in a week to 2 weeks, and will only award the project to a professional with good reviews/completion rates as well as good english. I am prepared to pay $140 for this.

This is where it gets a bit confusing. My workflow when uploading the bikes into the database needs to be user-friendly and easy because there are many bikes/models/years/engine sizes

The bike MAKE and MODEL need to be synchronized from the start. It would be ideal if each bike make had its own ADD DETAIL box – for MAKE and MODELS ( using commas like you have done already ), or if it could understand that each time I upload bike makes and models, that these will link , for example – KTM ( make ), EXC, XCW, SX, SXF ( models ), again separated by commas like you have already . So I would type – KTM then the models - EXC, XCW, SX, SXF, SMR, SM, SMC – using commas ( which will upload into the table next to the ADD DETAIL box and populate their drop menu on the ADD PRODUCT page for KTM’s. Now we have a table with KTM bikes and models. The models are now linked to KTM.

The years and engine sizes can be uploaded separately with their own ADD DETAIL for years and another one for ADD DETAIL for ENGINE SIZES, so they populate into their own drop menus – 1 menu for YEARS, one menu for ENGINE SIZES. The years from 2000 – 2020, and the engine sizes - 50, 85, 125, 200, 250, 300, 450, 525, 640, 690 will be constant through all the bike makes so we can upload these with commas into their YEAR and MODEL drop menus, and then synchronize them using a MULTI-SELECT drop menu in the ADD PRODUCT SEARCH WIDGET

Then when I add a product that works on a KTM / EXC / 125 / 2005 – 2014 , and a KTM / EXC / 250 / 2005 – 2014 , and a KTM / XCW / 250 / 2008 – 2014 , I can choose KTM in the drop menu, then the next drop menu should bring up all the KTM MODELS, and I can multi-select these ( like on that JQUERY MULTI-SELECT menu ). Now there is still the problem that the product might work on a KTM / EXC / 250 / 2005 – 2008 and also on a KTM / XCW / 250 / 2010 – 2014 . So I cant multi-select the years as these change with the two given bikes..

So maybe the answer is this – the 1st ADD DETAIL box is for YEARS, the 2nd is for bike MAKES and MODELS, and the 3rd is for ENGINE SIZES. I immediately populate the YEARS from 2000 – 2014. Now I go to the next ADD DETAIL box ( make, model ) and type – KTM and the MODELS using commas. I then need to link the makes and models to the correct years. The engine sizes can be added in their own ADD DETAIL box using commas – these shouldn’t need to be synchronized as all bikes will have engine sizes the same
