Project Description

We are looking for a marketing manager to support sales lead generation, PR, SEO, social marketing and other marketing initiatives for a small tech company in the US.

The ideal person will have excellent US-oriented english skills - both in speaking and writing, strong organizational skills, excellent awareness of and experience with Internet and related marketing tools (SEO, social media, etc.), experience with using Freelancer and similar sites for getting work done, a reasonable familiarity with US marketing practices, intense intellectual energy and the willingness to learn. Awareness of call center operations is also a plus.

You will report to the president of the company and manage the lead generation, PR distribution, SEO and other marketing efforts of the company. Your budget will be very small and the pressure to generate significant results will be great. Your only real asset will be that you will be promoting a very innovative set of products and features that are distinctly different from competitive vendors in the call center space.

Your efforts will be measured by the sales leads you generate, the cost per lead generated, and the quality of the leads generated (i.e. do they result in sales.) If you are uncomfortable with being held accountable for measurable results, you should not apply.

Tools we use currently (and which you will be expected to work with and master) include:

- Bigcontacts for lead management
- Icontact for email marketing
- Jigsaw for lead generation
- Webfishery for event promotion and lead generation
- PRNewswire and PRWeb for press releases
- LinkedIN for limited forum-based promotion

We do not currently have many efforts in SEO, social media, or other related marketing efforts. We're aware this is a gap.

You may bid this job as a full-time or part-time job. Since we are very limited on budget, you should not bid more than $2,000 per month, except under extreme circumstances. You are better off bidding $1,000 per month on a part-time basis than $3,000 per month full time.
