Project Description

We need a Windows application which will read and chart real-time data from a local SQLite3 database. Data is added to the DB several times every minute. Historical data charting and analysis is also required based on the DB info. We can show you an online site which is doing exactly what we need.

The application should also have the option to be viewed remotely as a private website if desired. In other words, the user could setup their computer as a personal server using Cassini server or similar. This would also take on the look of the example site (this is our site, so we are not infringing on any copyright).

We already have a local application available which is the engine that collects, parses and saves the real-time data to a SQLite DB. Your application would use these database values.

The application must have an installation such that the code is not viewable so that it may not be modified or copied. The installation should also have the option to install a server package such a Cassini bundled up, should the user choose to setup a private server. Installation registration is also required.

It is important to have modern looking charts. I would ask to see a sample page of what the charting would look like before pursuing your bid. The charts must also be free such as open source or custom.

You may choose what you feel is the appropriate language for this, however, I want code exclusivity - the application you write for me should not be shared. I will be the sole owner of the product and final code. The code must also be well documented.

This is a re-posting of a project which was supposed to have been delivered on Aug 11. The programer experienced personal issues which now has us scrambling for a quick turn-around solution. A finished product is required in a few days which may make this better suited for a team of programmers.
