Project Description

Objective:
User will fill out a web form, and my application will convert the data entered into a structured PDF file that will be automatically attached to another eform.

I need to be able to call a server based routine to generate a PDF file.

I desire the solution to be OS independent, so Java is preferred, but I'm open to suggestions. Installation should not require an installation routine, nor should it modify the registry. Assumption is that underlying requirements (i.e.: JRE) will be installed already.

Solution provided must be license and copyright free. Ownership of solution will be passed over with the solution, and no royalties or costs beyond delivery should be expected. Please price your solution as such.

I will pass a source file name (.TXT) that contains data in a defined structuire
I will pass a destination file name (.PDF) that I anticipate the resultant PDF file to be found.

PDF format will be predefined, and will not vary.
There will be 2 pages in the PDF, and must be included in one file.

Solution will respond with 0 = Sucess or an error number to identify what didn't work

The solution will be a server based solution, meaning my application will initiate the workflow on the server. The source and destination will be on the same server.

I am flexible in the solution details, templates, etc. as long as the functionality is provided.

If you have any questions, please respond with them.

We are looking for ASAP on this, so your response is appreciated!
