Project Description

This should be a simple project for someone with experience with Javascript and the Google maps API.

I need a javascript & HTML application that will allow someone to create a flight plan over a google map.
The user must be able to choose the map type (ROADMAP, SATELLITE, HYBRID, TERRAIN) and zoom level using HTML controls instead of the google map controls.
The flight path should have the behaviour of an editable polyline with each point being a waypoint. Users must be able to add waypoints by clicking on an 'add waypoint' HTML button and then clicking on the map OR by dividing an editable polyline. Waypoints are removed by clicking a 'remove waypoint' HTML button and then clicking on the waypoint. Each waypoint must have an icon (I will provide icons) over it. The first waypoint will be 'home' and it needs a special icon.
Waypoints must be 'dragable'.
Polyline points have a latitude and longitude, however since this is for planning flights waypoints also need an altitude and so there needs to be a way for users to edit the altitude for each waypoint. Perhaps an overlay would be suitable for this? I'll leave it up to you.

Finally, there needs to be several utility javascript functions.
There must be a 'save' type function that will load the flight plan into an array of arrays like this
[ [ latitude, longitude, altitude], [latitude, longitude, altitude], ect ]
and then store it is a string.
There needs to be a function that will clear all waypoints and a function that will load waypoints from a saved string.

I will provide a template for the HTML. Please ask if you have any questions!
