Project Description

Hi,

I finished a HTML5 project, which consists of a HTML5 page and an almost same HTML5 page for Mobile, and a JavaScript-File which is used for both mobile and desktop-version. Inside the code there is a lot of text, which need to be translated. The Job here is not to translate the texts, but to put all texts in a table (can be JavaScript-Array) and in the source-code the corresponding code to take this translations.

What you need to do:
- Search all plain texts
- Put these texts in a JavaScript Array, like var languageTable = { en : { somekeythatfits : "the actual text" }};
- Replace these texts in the source-code with a function-call that gets the corresponding text out of the table: "the actual text" --> tr("somekeythatfits");
- The function should respect what language was currently selected (ie. EN or DE), so there should be the option to once set the language at startup of the page, and afterwards always all the strings are taken from the "table" of that language. : var actLang = "en";

Hope thats clear. The App itself is kinda small, both HTML5 pages (almos the same, as i said) are around 700 lines of HTML-code and the JS-file is about 1200 lines, but almost no TEXT. The template is actually in GERMAN, but that should not matter that much. Text is text ;)

All in all a really small thing for someone that is into HTML and JavaScript.
