Project Description

I'm looking for a developer to build a relative simple but complete mail sending web service with sign up, login, editing of html mail templates, payments etc. Think 37signals feature and focus wise. Simple, easy to use and to the point not trying to solve all your problems just.

Design
I will supply complete design in PSD and description of every user event. There will be probably still be some logic holes to fill as it is difficult to estimate every conceivable case. I will also suggest choice of technique, plugins etc but require the developer to make qualitative choices when it comes to those things.

Responsibility
You will be responsible for building a great web service including how to handle hosting and making sure the code can be further developed and that the service should be able to handle at least thousands of users creating mailing lists, mails and sending emails. I encourage feedback on things if you have opinions on how the service should work.

Work
You will work tight with me through Skype, Google docs, Dropbox and Asana or similar. I encourage that you ask quickly if there is any questions and that we solve every obstacle fast and efficient.

If you get the job, the first thing we would do together would be to estimate the time and set a clear deadline for the project.

If the project is successful and I feel you have done a great job there will be lots of more work over time on this and other projects.

To apply
Please provide samples of web services you have built before preferably with sending of mails, user login/signup and payments. Also please describe how you would tackle this project and making sure you deliver a great end product.

About me
I'm a web designer and entrepreneur who designs web sites for clients but also work on my own projects. I'm looking at building a portfolio of smart, easy to use web services and this is the first one. Let's do great things together!
