Project Description

I want a program/script that will read certain fields from a betting website, and based upon the number in those fields then read an excel spreadsheet, and copy/paste values on to a corresponding form on the betting website and hit submit.

So the script/program will need to do three things:

1. Read different values from a table on a website

I or the program will browse to a specific page on a betting website that has a table of different betting odds. The script or program will then need to read specific values - this will be done by picking up the value of a cell by using a corresponding row and column header.

2. Read an excel spreadsheet

Based upon the value in the cell that has been picked up (say $[url removed, login to view] as an example), the script/program will then need to run across an excel spreadsheet until it finds the same value in row 1 (say it finds it in column H for example).

3. Use data from the spreadsheet to populate an online form

There will be 18 separate pieces of information that then need to be copied from the spreadsheet underneath column H in this example (i.e. H2 - H19) that will always be pasted in the same fields on a website, and then the program will need to hit Submit.

IN SUMMARY
The program will automate the placing of bets on a betting website, greatly increasing the speed at which bets can be placed. The program will read an odd from a cell on the web, find the corresponding amounts on a spreadsheet and submit those amounts to a form on the betting website and hit submit.
