We need a simple puzzle game which in HTML 5. There are 2 pages to the website which must be html5 and MUST work offline.
Page 1: very simple layout with 3 columns which display the .jpg images for the available puzzles. The available puzzle images are just regular images in .jpg files and are stored in a subdirectory /images. When clicking on one of the images we go to a whole screen view of that puzzle in Page 2.
option in html page to select number of pieces, should be a parameter in a function
Page 2: contains the puzzle view of the image. At the start the following events must take place
The puzzle is displayed a whole (just the image), it should use about 70% of the screen on an IPAD.
An MP3 sound file is played. If the image is called [url removed, login to view], the sound file is [url removed, login to view]
The image is then cut into pieces, and displayed for 2 secs in the "home" position
The pieces are then moved to random positions.
The user can then click on pieces and move them into position where they should "snap into place" by using the [url removed, login to view] library and the code in the article
[url removed, login to view]
Most of the work is done in that article.
IMPORTANT: if after 5 seconds (configurable) the user does nothing a hint must be displayed. The hint must be the highlighting of a given piece and the target location.
When the puzzle is complete another MP3 file sould be played. ([url removed, login to view])
There should be a link back to page 1 so that the user can return to the home page at any time (even if the puzzle is not complete).
On going to the website, everything should be stored in webstorage (images/mp3), so that it can then work 100% offline). This includes images and sound files.
You MUST provide a TEST website for this. Please do not bid on this project if you cannot post the result on a public test site. In order to simplify the testing, I will be using the public TEST site for validating the result before I try to install it locally.
MUST use the paperjs library in the excellent dev article most of the work is already done there for the puzzle part.
