Implement GTM Ecommerce tag by using the dynamic variables.

I have question about the dynamic variable. Let’s say i am an agency, and the client check out page has dynamic variable, which mean all those revenue, tax and IT variable are different every time someone makes a purchase. What i should ask client for those variable and how i should deploy those variables? Say for instance, the client told the total revenue variable is called “Rev”, should i make that line ‘transactionTotal’: Rev ??
