Project Description

Hello,

IMPORTANT: Please only bid on this project if you've read the information below and are confident you can deliver the modified Javascript code. Please feel free to ask questions before making a bid.

Project description:

The deliverable for this project consists in slightly modifying two dozen lines of Javascript code. The modified version probably won’t need more than a dozen or so lines added to it.

The code in question pulls information from a Google spreadsheet, formatting it, and displaying it in a certain way on a Web page, using embeddable code such as Javascript.

We’ve already created a demo of all this using the test spreadsheet at [url removed, login to view], and using the Javascript code at [url removed, login to view]

The above-referenced Javascript uses the Tabletop Framework which allows dynamically pulling information from Google spreadsheets. There is more information at [url removed, login to view]

You can see the Javascript code at work inside a test page we created at [url removed, login to view]

Each bullet item on that test page corresponds with information from a row inside the Google spreadsheet.

We want to augment the above referenced Javascript code to:

Goal A: Display the information in a paginated way, instead of just in a single page;

Goal B: Make it so that each bullet on the test page links to separate, bookmarkable page that repeats the information inside the bulleted item.

Background:

Multiple calendars on different content management systems already use the information on a spreadsheet similar to the one referenced above, but currently in each case the information is manually copied and pasted from the calendar and manually fed into the respective CMS. The goal is to automate the process with embeddable code that can be used across different CMSs.

The deliverables for this project consist in providing modified Javascript code that can be embedded inside any page and accomplish Goals A + B.
