Project Description

We have simple application running on old Mambo CMS with possibility for users to enter information to DB and view different statistical information with details ([url removed, login to view]). All is implemented including static php files through the StaticXT component for Mambo, and there is no backend manager for item lists managing and editing.
Present collected information includes: species (dropdown), sex (dropdown), place (dropdown), biotope (dropdown), indication (dropdown), number (dropdown), observation date (old selector), observation time (not needed function). Statistical information includes: list of participants (sorted descending by enterings) with connections to detailed information and sorting options, comments for every entering (only for users), last 10 enterings, last 10 different species entered, list of observed species, list of non observed species. Important thing is that after user enters species to DB it disappears from selection for user.

We need to have component for this working on Joomla 3.x with added functionalities and full administration in admin. It is necessary to simplify using it for users as far as possible.

Additional needed functions:
1. Add option for upload photo/video/sound;
2. Add map marker for location selection (auto fills region name);
3. Simplify species selection, adding option to enter few species at the same place;
4. Module for showing last 10 enterings;
5. Filters for data by month/year/user/species/place;
6. Notify users by email on entering rare species;

Help with importing old DB entries is needed as well.
