Project Description

I need to encrypt an entire Ubuntu system, but also still have it boot and run cron jobs. I don't want to have to type my password each time the machines boots. So I need a secure way to boot into a encrypted OS. The reason I am doing this is becuse I have hardware with custom software that I need to send to clients, but I don't want them to have access to the filesystem. I created a remote control encoding system that I have full access to remotely, but to do this I need be able to boot into the system. Even with a passworded system, it still allows someone to remove the hard drive and mount it to another Linux installation and read all the data on the drive. I want to avoid this. The problem is that using the normal encryption mechanism that is built into Ubuntu, forces me to input a key/password to boot the system. I need a way around this. I need you provide full instructions on how to do it. Once you provide a full instructional on how to do it, I will test it, and once I confirm it works, I will release funds. Any scripts or files needed to do this you must provide links or access to them. For extra money, if you can create a custom automated installation that will have all my setup already installed, I will pay extra for it. For this to qualify for extra money, I will give you remote access to a machine that already has everything I need, and then you try to create the distribution from my existing installation. You can add my username to skype to discuss more. All transactions must and only will be used Freelancer.
