Project Description

We have a linux server that we wish to clone on a new server or to a virtual machine (vmware) to have a backup in case of a disaster, we couldn't use vmware converter because there is no /boot mounted. I am not sure if the boot is mounted under a different folder.
It runs a small linux version and using something called busybox. I'm not an expert but I know busy box combines 100's of commands into one whenever a small version of linux is needed.
We need to copy or clone this server remotely without taking it down (we can take it down for a few minutes if it's a must), I have root access to the machine.
Please let me know what approach you are thinking to take to accomplish this task when you apply for the job.
Please apply only if you are certain you can do this.. We don't have time to waste and this is a production server we can't break it.

You must be available to work with me on this because I want to see and lean how to do it. I am available from 9am to 11:30pm USA Pacific Time (Los Angeles time)
PM me with questions if you need to know something about the existing server..
