Project Description

Intro: I have a VoIP system with mumble so I can chat with my friend over the internet.

Project: When my friend talks, I hear his voice in my speakers. I want to control a display so that when he talks, the mouth of a real human moves on the screen.

No lipsync needed. Just a moving mouth.

So I think that the best way to achieve that is with this setup: A video on background of a real human standing still with the mouth shut and a second video clip of a mouth talking layered on top of it. When my friend talks, audio is received and the layer of the mouth is shown. When my friend is silent, the layer containing the mouth is hidden.

No lipsync needed.

I need a way to customize it so I can put my own video of a human with mouth shut and own video of a moving mouth clip. I need the app to be run full size on the screen (borderless). I need to be able to customize the volume of sound needed to trigger the visibility of the mouth layer.

Would be best if it could run on linux, but if you can do it on windows it could be ok too.
