Project Description

We're looking for a new logo design for client.

Company called Orillia Woodworking... OWW for short.

Logo must work in colour and in black and white (greyscale).

The client mills and manufactures unfinished wood trims, mouldings, flooring and siding. (By unfinished, I mean they come right out of the milling machine... have real wood look. Buyer then puts paint or stain or varnish of choice on them before installing.

Products used mainly in high-end homes and cottages... both newly built and renovated.

It's a small to medium sized business needing a new, fresh brand. Located in area near cottage country, lakes.

We're looking for something professional, fresh and appealing.

It's a pretty down to earth business, not really high tech, but they are good at what they do.

Not particular about colours, but it is about wood, so an earthy look is an option.

One option including circular sawblade of some sort would be interesting too... but may look too old. Really want to be modern.

Hoping for three to four concepts, then we can narrow down from there. Like to see options with both full name Orillia Woodworking and just OWW worked in.

Add potential taglines...
Quality You Can Count On
or
Quality You Appreciate
... into prospective logos as well.

Once logo nailed down, we will also need to incorporate into working files for biz card layout, letterhead and envelopes.

Will need final logos as high resolution .tifs or .eps to be used as needed later.
