We are in the early stages of creating a end-to-end coffee roasting platform like cropster.com. It’s made for coffee roasters to be able to track their inventory, their sampling of the coffee, the roast profiles, etc. Cropster is the closest product to what we want, but they are not user friendly as well. We are looking for a designer to come up with a beautiful, unique, user-friendly interface for this project. Here’s a little info on how the web app will work. You can also sign up for a free [url removed, login to view] account to see that as well. A farmer has the product at origin. There could be many varietals of coffee per farm. When the buyer goes to origin, they make sample cuppings of the varietals at origin pre-purchase. They record their views/tasting score/descriptors Then the buyer can buy or not buy, if bought, the coffee needs to be imported and exported. Sometimes sample cuppings can be made before export and after import and that gets recorded. After the coffee gets into the roaster warehouse, it can be added into the inventory. Sometimes the warehouse isn’t big enough or import fees are too much so they keep the coffee offsite, in this case, the coffee shouldn’t be kept in useable inventory, but in the reserve inventory. Then when a roast happens, there’s a place to import the roast specs, like how long the roast was, temperature, etc. this will be done with a hardware probe then the data is uploaded. This is a roast profile After the roasts, there are more sample cuppings and it’s recorded When a good roast formula is made, they take the roast profile and make a production roast. After the production roast, more cuppings are done and recorded. Every roast, even sample roastings at origin and import/export will have a generated Roasting Code, and all the cuppings can refer to that roasting code. For production roasts, there will be Quality Control. This will only be done for production roasts. The QC control number will be used for cuppings after the production roast is done. This can be done at the roaster, at the cafe, at home etc. Finally, the tricky part with the coffee inventory and cupping tracking is sometimes a blend is done. For example BlendA can be a blend of multiple coffees, like CoffeeA, CoffeeB and CoffeeC. Each of of these coffees will have a Roasting Code and the BlendA will also have a roasting code, but the 3 coffee’s roasting code should be under BlendA. Cuppings are also done with BlendA. After the production roast, the coffee is sent to cafes or to retail stores. From there, the production roast number will be on the bags so people at the cafes or at home can make cuppings. So this is basically an end-to-end coffee purchasing, roasting and cupping platform. Currently, all alternatives are very not user friendly and very hard to use. We all really like the concept of JIRA with the cards and you can move the status of a lot/coffee/roast around.

I am looking for a designer to create a logo for my business, Youth Success International. It is an organization dedicated to unleashing the potential of our future entrepreneurs and world leaders. The logo design I am looking for is a seal logo design: - Youth Success on top, International on the bottom of the circle - Some type of design in the middle of it, as most seals have, that is relevant to our mission, entrepreneurship, leadership, success, etc. (No academic related things- books, pencils, graduation cap, etc.) - Navy blue outline, no colors filling in the logo - I would like there to be no background for the logo, to allow me to place the outline over any image I desire without additional white space. (Transparent background) (Outline only) Any other ideas are welcome, please contact if you have any questions! I will only purchase the logo design if I truly see it fitting the mission and our organization, of course.
