We are a small start up that is working on bringing a commuter style electric bike to the marketplace. Our company has experience in mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering however we need a product designer to help create the visual appearance of the bicycle. We would like someone to help design the bike frame starting from sketches to a 3D model. The design process will include creating rough designs using constraints found in a design brief we have created. From there, we will move towards a final rough design on paper, which we would like to then have digitized into a model. We are about to design one mobile retail store mounted on a truck. One of the targets will hopefully be for clinics around who provide frequent health care services and annual check ups to the schools children in Elementary and Secondary Schools. We want a design where the sides of the store can be opened down and acting as deck with legs sitting on the ground, like stages, and providing additional space. It could be designed by hydraulic, electrical OR made of a light steel to be opened manually but stand weights of the people coming on. The engineer must be able to take care of the electrical plan as well. For this unit, we only have lighting, and for this specific design, some medical equipment with low power consumption like Eye Exam equipment as the most. But we need see what electrical options we could use as per your experience to be silent, clean, cost efficient but sufficient enough to work at least 5 hours off grid, if possible. We have a consumer toy product for kids age 7-12 that combines mechanical, electrical and software components in a learning experience for kids to learn about technology. The heart of the product is a Raspberry Pi microcomputer that interfaces with standard off-the-shelf electronic components ( breadboard-based ) , wrapped in a mechanical building experience where kids 1) assemble laser-cut mechanical parts, 2) wire up circuits, and 3) program their way through fun games.
