i designed an ATmega2560 arduino based shield that will fit the arduino "mega pro [url removed, login to view]" from sparkfun (products/10744).
the design is originally made for 5v version but i would like to convert it to 3v3 version

external components that will be controlled by this design
1 air pump
3 air valves
2 sensors
1 RTC clock
1 LCD screen
1 wifi communication element
5 buttons with LED indicators.

max current for entire build 750mA, elements are SMD
datasheets for all elements is available.

if you choose to accept this project you will

STAGE #1 - rework on the schematics
* study datasheets
* remove two level shifting elements (5v-3v3)
* add a 5v-3v3 voltage divider to two analog sensors in the design.
* choose correct voltage regulators based on included datasheets for components

STAGE #2 - pcb layout for the shield.
* layout a 2 layer board (current number of pads ~100).
* generate a BOM (via farnell or digikey) with matching footprints for components
* help choose correct connectors to external components (90deg angle)
* finalize PCB making it ready for PCB manufacturing based on DRC.
* help choose connectors for external components
