PROJECT OUTLINE

PROJECT TITLE: 'DOOM Game Final Build To .apk Production'

PROJECT BUDGET: $[url removed, login to view] USD

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:This is an Android 3D Game project that has 6 easy tasks that need to be completed, they consist of some basic code modifications and the final .apk Android Application to be built for release. The original code was built in a Linux environment and there are shell files to help with the changes and to build the code automatically, a Windows or Mac environment can also be used. The game is completely built, functions, and the Android SDK files only need minor code modifications. Again these tasks are automated with shell files or the adjustments can be done manually to the source code if the developer chooses.

SOURCE CODE MODIFICATIONS:

1 - Rename application package to: [url removed, login to view]
2 - Change code version to 1.0.1
3 - Remove modifications scrolling text on start menu screen (see screenshot)

FINAL PROJECT TASKS:

1 - Compile a list file names and modifications made to these files by developer.
2 - Compile both a [url removed, login to view] version and a [url removed, login to view] version. Use the following naming convention: [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]
3 - Final .apk debug, release, and application modified source code will be delivered via FTP by developer to the specified FTP site.
PROJECT DEADLINE: This project needs to be completed no later than seven days after winning bid is selected.
ADDITIONAL PROJECT NOTES: Developer will have a point of contact available at all times to explain anything relating to 'Project Doom Original' and to verify the project goals are completed. Point of contact, screenshots, and FTP access on this project will be provided to Developer who is awarded the project bid.

DEVELOPER NOTES:

This application should be compiled with Android 2.2 SDK and NDK r4b - google for them and install them as described in their docs (the application will run on Android 1.6 and above). You will need to install Ant too.

The most supported environment for that port is Linux, MacOs should be okay too, If you're developing on Windows you'd better install andLinux or Ubuntu+Wubi, to get proper Linux environmentrunning inside Windows, then install Linux toolchain on it. Also you'll need full set of Linux utils and symlinks support to launch [url removed, login to view] (sh, grep, sed, tr).

How to compile Doom

[url removed, login to view] to "project" directory and launch command android update project -p .
[url removed, login to view] ./[url removed, login to view] to generate a debug version doom or run ./[url removed, login to view] to generate a release version doom

Other
the [url removed, login to view] is used for change the package name of this project

ADDITIONAL PROJECT DETAILS

Then the final .apk needs to be compiled. It has been compiled and tested and works fine no other code adjustments are necessary, it simply needs to be exported as an Android [url removed, login to view] is a simple and basic build and the final changes should take a knowledgeable Android developer less than 30 minutes to achieve as all the work has already been done and/or modifications are automated via shell scripts for future builds. For this reason the project funding is no more than $[url removed, login to view] USD, based on an hourly rate of $[url removed, login to view] USD. If you can accomplish these easy tasks in the allotted time for the project budget of $[url removed, login to view] then future projects could be rewarded requiring over 100 hours of work, hence a greater project budget.
