Project Description

The project requires a Android and/or IOS app that could captured picture and ID of the customer and send it to the backend server. The summary of the functionality is as follows. I will provide more detail after we decide to work with you based on your quote and experience. The mock up will be provided upon request.
1) Able identify the customer, where the backend of the app will post content to the customer's facebook. There are two methods to identify the customer:
a) The customer ID is obtained by scanning the QR code, identifying the customer, via the camera. The decoded QR code will be named 'qr_code'.
b) The customer signup via facebook login. The authorisation token will be captured by the app. The token will be named 'fb_token'.
2) Able to take picture via the camera and store the picture.
3) Able to post the information captured to the backend server. The information are as follows:
a) Terminal ID
b) Picture captured
c) QR code scanned, 'qr_code' or the facebook token obtained, 'fb_token'.
The actual post is performed in the background. For the case when posting take a long time due to uploading the picture, the user of the app can continue taking picture, scanning qr_code, facebook login etc and posting and the posting continues in the background.
4) Able to configure the terminal id of the app residing a specific terminal.
5) In case the wireless connection (wifi or 2G/3G/LTE) is down, the app is able to stored the element of the form {picture, terminal id, fb_token/qr_code} in an internal list for future post to the backend server.
6) The app is able to display the customer id and corresponding picture of the information that has not been post to the backend server. The customer id is in the form of the email address of the customer, as obtained from facebook login (if fb_token is obtained) or obtained from the backend server by query with the information of the qr_code.
