Project Description

Develop an App that securely process cards on the go using UnimagPro and shuttle card reader
who will be using this App
This App will be available for all our Merchants who are subscribed to it. download the app and go.

We have Unimag SDK you will need to integrate the App with UniMag/Shuttle/iMag family readers,

The SDK provides necessary function calls for an application to detect reader connection, get card data from the reader, or power up reader. A piece of demo application is also included in the SDK package, which demonstrates the functionality of the reader. You may develop your own application based on the demo application we provided.
How the Unimag reader works
The reader takes a card swipe and output whatever on the card. Therefore, the app needs to be able to parse the data and get fields needed, such as card number and card holder name, and send such information to designated server or merchant gateway to make a transaction.

There are four different models in UniMag family: UniMag, UniMag Pro, UniMag II and Shuttle. UniMag and UniMag Pro reads up to 3 track data; while UniMag II and Shuttle are two-track readers (general credit cards include data on track 1 and track 2 only). Each of them has a supported phone list on ID TECH website. To make sure the reader works on your Android device, please make sure the model number and carrier is included in the list.

Our interest is UnimagPro and shuttle
