I require an app that is able to be added to the App Store for iPhone and eventually iPad and Mac using the same code basically. The apps objective is to be informative about computer history (Have a look at the free app Mactracker, its got the right kind of layout that I'm thinking of but i want to do it on a much larger scale)
I want the app when first downloaded to only have access to a select company's history of inventions i.e. all of there hardware, software etc. I also then want an add-on based system in place so the user can purchase in-app upgrades so their application includes another company's history of computer inventions.
This job requires a computer savvy person or team that also knowns a lot about the history of computers. I am looking for someone to make this app so then it is easy to maintain and I'm also interested in paying extra for the developer to show me how to make extra in-app purchase companies. In the app i would like the history of IBM and as in app purchase id like the history of Apple, Microsoft and NeXT Computers. The is opportunity in the app is made well for the developer or developers team to be paid to add more in app purchase categories. The developer or someone within the developers team will need to have the ability of graphically drawing the items listed in the app (please refer to Mactracker) so then the end user will be able to see what it would have looked like.
I so would like built in features such as the ability to compare two devices, be able to save devices to favourites, be able to search all items i.e. computers etc including the users in-app purchases with the possibility of a form of social networking attached where users can buy and sell there computers, and post photos of there vintage machines and find other people with the same machines as them
The app must take advantage of the latest iOS and Mac OS X and must be written in Xcode - preferably in Objective C and cocoa but other languages accepted by Xcode are accepted
See my terrible last minute sketch for more details, sorry about the quality
