Project Description

NOTE: We have quite a few other similar HTML5/Angular/[url removed, login to view] mobile application projects lined up after this. If you can solve these issues, there's a high probably you'll get a lot of follow-on work.

We have an existing HTML5 mobile application built using HTML5, AngularJS, and the new Ionic Framework. There are several third-party plug-ins, but NO jQuery.

We are using [url removed, login to view] (similar to PhoneGap) to compile the application into a native application.

We are having trouble getting a high level of polish in the compiled iPhone application when using Trigger.IO. Specifically, scrolling and page loads are flickering. The issues could be bugs in the Ionic Framework or issues in our code. The issues are present in both the iOS simulator and the compiled code running on an iOS 7 device. The scrolling works in Chrome using the Ripple Emulator; page flicker and page transition animation issue are present in Ripple.

Here's a demo of the scroll jumping: [url removed, login to view]

For the paging animation, we only have it going in one direction (either left-to-right or right-to-left), but are unable to conditionally apply the direction (i.e. back should be left-to-right and forward should be right-to-left). This is an issue with the Ionic Framework when using the Side Menu directive in combination with the nav-router directive.

For the page loads, the page flickers when loading in both the Ripple Emulator as well as when compiled.

The scope of this project is to get the scrolling, page loads and page transitions to function flawlessly.
