Brief Description:

The nutritional system should be modeled to fit the use of a gym. It is intended to help clients get their nutritional intake set on the right path of a healthier life style. As such, it is necessary that the administrator (Personal Trainer) can set Menu per client and that the trainer is informed on what the calorie calculation is per meal so that it can be adjusted to fit the total consumption allowed per day.

It should also take into consideration a pre set selection of Menu's generated for different type of physical exertion per day so that meal menu's can be auto generated and circulated so that the same meal is never used more than once a week.

Each meal item should be interchangeable with a different product/ingredient incase the client has a different preference for food. Ingredients that can be interchanged should be of similar calorie count and food group. (Dairy for dairy, poultry for poultry, etc)

The menu's should be able to be generated per day/week/month/year and they should generate a shopping list that the client will receive to get all the ingredients necessary for the set meals.

It should also be possible to do some analysis based on food intake vs physical exertion to show calorie gain or loss for the set periods.
