Project Description

We wish to create version 2 of the following apps for iPhone and Android:

- [url removed, login to view]
- [url removed, login to view];hl=en

Please note that this project is to create version 2 of BOTH the iPhone AND the Android apps.

These are applications we have developed previously and we will supply the source code for the current versions.

For this project we have the following requirements:

*** Employ a Resource/Manifest File
Currently all configurable elements of the apps such as fonts, colors, icons, etc are hard-coded. We will supply a standard format resource file will all necessary values/objects and the app is to reference this resource file when compiling. The goal of this requirement is that in future we can use a different resource file and recompile the app in order to have a differently branded version of the app without having to re-code.

*** Look-and-Feel/UI
For both the iPhone and Android version, all messaging screens (inbox, message view, etc) should mimic the look and feel of the native messaging app on the handset. For example, the iPhone version should look exactly the same as the native iPhone SMS app. This includes fonts, backgrounds, colors, icons, and functions etc.

*** Remote Wipe
We will provide a call in the server API to initiate a remote wipe of messages from the Secure Messaging inbox. When this call is received, the app must delete the specified message(s) from the inbox.

*** Validity Period
Messages retrieved from the server API will be assigned a validity period meaning they are able to be read only for a limited period of time. After this time, the app must delete the message from the Secure Messaging inbox.

*** 2-Way Secure Messaging
Replies to secure messages will call the server API and be sent securely via an encrypted HTTPS request.

On delivery you will provide all source code to us whereupon we will test compile and sign-off on the project completion.

We wish to receive a first iteration of the apps by Friday 25th May 2012.
