This Project involves the development of a simple iPhone application for a worker who is familiar with the usage of iOS systems. The application is aimed at those who wish to quit smoking and will help them in managing the process. Input will be required from the user in the form of how many cigarettes they smoke per day. This input will be required on a daily basis. The application will process their input to show the user a set of useful information that will assist them in quitting. The formulae to process the input will be provided. The budget for this this project is $65 (negotiable). Only applicants that mention the code word SmokeNoMore will be considered.
• The application is expected to be fully functional on delivery.
• The application will be in English and therefore a reasonable understanding of the language is required.
• Please state your approach to developing this application in your response.
Page 1: This is the page the user will see upon opening the application. On a daily basis, as the smoker smokes, he/she can input and increase the number of cigarettes they smoke by using the up/down button. It will then process the information to show how much money has been spent and how many minutes of life have been lost that day(formulae for calculations to be provided). The input should reset to zero at midnight every day, storing the previous days information. There are also two buttons on the home page, clicking on the history button will lead to screen 2, while clicking on accumulative will lead to screen 4.
Page 2: The history page is to show the average money spent on a daily basis since the application is installed by the user and the average number of minutes lost on a daily basis. (Formulae to be provided). Furthermore there will be a Calendar button which will lead to screen 3 as well as a home button which will return one to page 1.
Page 3: On the calendar page, the user should be able to able to view the given information on any date of the last week (last 7 days) using a drop down menu to select the date. After selecting the date the relevant information should appear in the boxes. Again, there is a home button that leads to page 1.
Page 4: The accumulative page will show total sum of money spent, cigarettes smoked and minutes lost since the installation of the application. There will also be a home button.
Please see the attached file for further details and screen shots of what is required.
