Project Description

Hi I need two small things to be done (one of them is maybe a bit tricky but an expert should be able to do that with ease):

Task 1:

I have a folder with lots of text files and I want a script/ tool of some kind that reads the text in two options in a single MS Excel file. This can be a flag in the code or as easy as the developer likes. Maybe some python script or so. The script should have a flag where it reads all the text in the same structure into a single excel file, add a line (can be empty) between the next text file that is read into the same excel file. All concatenated in a single worksheet. I should just be able to change the code (flag or so) that the text is either completely imported or just the last line of each text file. (see picture 1). All the text files have the same structure (picture 1). (text delimiter is comma ',')

Task 2:

The same thing only now the source is a MySQL database table (many of them) one example is picture 2. Here I want another script or so that reads all the MySQL tables into a single excel file. Also with an empty line(row) between imported files. The source is as picture 2 but the excel file should then show me (column headings): INDEX; Timestamp; NumberToBeEntered; NumberEntered; Error(this is a new column that just has 0 or 1 it the numbers were not identical); KeysPressed; Corrections(New Column that counts the number of '+' characters in the column keys pressed); Score. This is a separate excel/result file.

The developer is free to choose whatever tool or language he or she wants to use as long as I get the Excel files at the end. CSV files are also ok of course. I probably have some more tasks like these in the future so I'd like to stay in touch with the developer if that works well.

That's it :)
